How We Market Homes

Effective marketing of your home is one of the most important tools for selling your home. That is why at Kappeli Real Estate we invest much of our resources into the marketing of our listings. Here are some of the ways we would market your home:

    Notification of Listing

    • All Kappeli agents are educated and well informed of your property and its features.
    • We inform all brokers in the Manhasset/Port Washington Board as well as other brokers through the Multiple Listing Service.
    • Hold broker’s inspections so that all agents have an opportunity to preview the home before bringing prospective buyers. This will not only inform all agents about new homes on the market, it will also cut down on the amount of unqualified buyers.
    • Prepare Highlights Flyer with all features of your home to give to prospective buyers.
    • Direct mailings to homes in the area to inform them that your property is for sale and invite them to come take a look at it.
    • Hold a public open house, at owner’s request. Public open houses are generally held during the weekend by a Kappeli agent for a two hour period.

    Newspaper Advertising

We advertise all of our listings in the real estate sections of newspapers on a weekly basis. We usually advertise in The New York Times, Newsday and other local papers depending on the listing and what we feel our target audience should be. Some of the local papers we advertise on are Manhasset Press, Port Washington News, Roslyn News, Great Neck Record and North Shore Today.

    Real Estate Publications

Another way of effective marketing is through real estate publications. We advertise in local real estate magazines such as Portfolio of Homes, Homes & Estates Magazine and The Real Estate Book. These ads include color photos and detailed highlights of each home.

    Internet

Your listing can also be featured on websites such as kappelirealty.com, nytimes.com, newsday.com, portfolio-of-homes.com, mlsli.com, and realtor.com.
